- Registered as quality-certified material under the Building Act...Fire safety officially verified
- High-performance panel solution featuring fire safety, thermal insulation, and construction efficiency
Arneg Korea, a company specializing in industrial refrigeration and freezing solutions, has officially validated its technological capabilities and product reliability in the high-performance insulation material market by obtaining a quality certification for its ‘limited-combustible core urethane panels.’
The certified ‘limited-combustible core urethane panels’ meet the standards for ‘quality-certified composite materials’ mandated for use in factories and warehouse facilities by the revised “Building Act” and related enforcement rules implemented as of December 23, 2021.
According to the amended regulations, when using composite materials consisting of steel plates and cores as finishing materials, △ the entire assembly of steel plates and cores must pass a full-scale fire test according to the standards set by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, △ the steel plates must be at least 0.5mm thick with a galvanization amount of at least 180g/m² (based on zinc galvanization) and coated at least twice, and △ the core material must have non-combustible or limited-combustible properties.

Arneg Korea’s ‘limited-combustible core urethane panels’ have been verified for their ability to prevent initial fire spread and protect human life and property through full-scale fire testing, and by meeting these stringent criteria, they have been officially registered as quality-certified materials in accordance with Article 52-5 of the “Building Act.”
These panels feature an exterior finished with steel plates of at least 0.5mm thickness and an interior filled with rigid urethane foam with a density of 38 kg/m³ (thickness 99~126 mm), providing excellent thermal insulation and fire resistance properties. With a thermal conductivity of less than 0.02 W/mK, they also offer outstanding energy efficiency.
Thanks to these characteristics, the panels can be custom-applied to various industrial settings where temperature maintenance is essential, such as logistics warehouses, cold storage facilities, food storage spaces, constant temperature and humidity equipment, and clean rooms. They demonstrate exceptional insulation performance in high-performance environments requiring stable internal temperature maintenance while minimizing energy loss.
Moreover, these panels are designed with a self-supporting structure, enabling installation without separate steel frames, providing economic advantages by shortening construction periods and reducing overall construction costs.
An Arneg Korea representative stated, “Through this quality certification, we have established a foundation to provide customers with safer and more efficient insulation solutions,” adding, “We will continue to simultaneously strengthen fire response capabilities and energy-saving effects in domestic and international industrial facilities through high-quality panels.”
Meanwhile, in addition to this quality certification, Arneg Korea holds the international fire safety certification FM Approvals (FM Certificate). It continues to be recognized for its consistent quality competitiveness domestically and internationally, based on industry-leading automated production facilities and stringent quality management systems.
