ARNEG KOREA "BLDC INVERTER SYSTEM"

Arneg Korea’s commercial inverter refrigeration/freezer system has been selected as new equipment for the '2022 Energy Efficient Market Promotion Project', an initiative of the Korea Energy Agency. Accordingly, businesses that replace existing equipment with Arneg Korea's inverter refrigeration/freezer equipment featuring vapor injection technology can receive up to 200 million won in government subsidies.

The Energy Efficient Market Promotion Project supports the installation and management of energy-efficient equipment and system that reduce energy consumption significantly, and energy savings measurement, encouraging the creation of an energy-efficient market. This project's targets are industrial, general, educational small and medium-sized business/small and medium-sized enterprise owners and non-profit corporations, and it aims to help those small and medium-sized businesses and small business owners who have difficulties improving energy efficiency by replacing their equipment with high-efficiency equipment.

In order to improve energy efficiency, Arneg Korea provides an anti-condensation control system for commercial inverter refrigeration/freezer systems and refrigeration/freezer showcase, and it is the first to introduce vapor injection technology to national inverter refrigeration/freezer equipment that supports a smooth adjustment of refrigerator's operating range and speed. As a result, the average energy consumption per year is reduced by 30-50% approximately compared to the conventional constant-speed type, and about 15-20% compared to other brands' inverter refrigerators. In addition, by applying an optimal discharge gas temperature control algorithm, the compressor's stability is secured even when the outdoor temperature rises in summer, improving energy efficiency and maintaining food safety at all times.

Also, the anti-condensation control system of refrigeration/freezer showcases regulates the door heater, which is always running, to be activated only when necessary, minimizing the amount of heat generated by the heater and energy consumption by reducing the refrigeration load.

Arneg Korea intends to actively take part in the "2050 Carbon Neutral Strategy" and "Carbon Neutral Technology Innovation Strategy" by participating in the Energy Efficient Market Promotion Project. Replacing around 450,000 constant-speed refrigerators in use in minimarts and farmhouse cold rooms with inverter refrigerators is taking a step closer to carbon neutrality, reducing the carbon dioxide emissions by 2.0Mt per year, the same amount as when about 400 million pine trees are planted.

Convenience stores across the country already started improving energy efficiency by replacing conventional constant-speed refrigerators with 100% inverter refrigerators and installing new ones. Encouraging the use of high-efficiency inverter refrigerators, promoted by the Energy Efficient Market Promotion Project, is expected to shorten the transition time toward an eco-friendly cold chain.

Arneg Korea pioneered the high efficiency of inverter refrigerators, being the first to apply vapor injection technology to inverter refrigeration/freezer equipment in the country. And it is also the first to use CO2 refrigerant, a natural alternative, for distribution stores, as one of the great efforts to find a solution to global warming.
